10 Tips To Keep You Sane At Home During The Corona Virus Quarantine.

Today marks the official day of Quarantine in NYC, so I have put together a few tips and lifestyle hacks to keep You sane during the Corona Virus Lock Down. How are You managing your time, your space, you're alone time, sanity? Hows your family doing? Your pets? How ever You are coping, I hope You #staysanestaysafestaystrong
Drop some other tips to maintain your sanity at home during all this panic below!


During this corona virus, we are all in a min state of sock, dismay and maybe even a little scared, But I don't you to fret my pretties. Life will get better soon! So while you're sanitizing every single surface in your house, and spraying down each family member as they wake up (LOL!)- I have put together some quick ideas to keep you busy at home during these trying times.
My first tip is to STAY POSITIVE.
Being a Negative Nancy or even a Paranoid Patty will send your mind into a spiraling dark whole if you allow all the COVID__9 Corona Virus statistics, media coverage, stories and more sink into your energy. But you cant let it well atleast try not to let it drive you insane. The Best thing to do is too, stay positive, stay indoors, love your loved ones and create daily activities to keep your mind off of whats happening around the world.

TIP #2: WATCH MY YOUTUBE. IGTV, PINTERESTS VIDEOS if you're tired of Netflix, Amazon or Hulu tv shows. Lol! Watching or even trying to catch up on your shows that you have missed before this quarantined happened can get a little old. So don't sit for too long or your knees will get numb. Here are some movies/shows I'm binge watching: CHEERS, GOLDEN GIRLS, ON MY BLOCK, PRETTY WOMAN, CONTAINMENT, DIE HARD BLUE STREAK, MONEY TALKS, MARTIN AND A FEW OTHERS. What are you binging?

TIP #3 MAKE SOME FACETIME CALLS AND CHECK IN ON YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T SPOKE TO IN A WHILE.
They will be grateful and that will make you feel much better to have some different faces to look at it. So make some calls and connect with everyone you love.

TIP #4 PLAN YOUR FAMILY MEALS.
Today I figured since we have created a nice stock pile of groceries, some I ordered via instacart and some we waited on line in BJs for hours, that i would take up some time and create our weekly and dinner calendar plans for the month. This way we are prepared with ingredients we all ready have in our pantry because who knows what will happen with in the next couple of weeks, let alone days as the government changes requirements on quarantine.

TIP #5 LEARN TO PLAY A VIDEO GAME.
Listen, I'm all for having some fun playing Sims, Call Of Duty etc with my son. WE can also have fun learning what I our kids love these days. I am a super addict of Sims on Playstation. You can also go on your phones or tablet, Ipad App Store to download some games to play to take your mind off of everything and kill time.

TIP #6 TAKE UP YOGA
Yoga helps You calm your nerves and senses. I keeps your limbs, muscles and body flexible, limber and stretched.m If You cant go to the gym or aren't able to go outside, learn a few stretches to reduce stress.

TIP #7 TAKE ON SOME DIY PROJECTS TO HELP AROUND THE HOUSE
You know Im all for the Do It Yourself home projects to help ease into Spring and summer. Especially now that you're locked in. But now that You are- You start to notice all the things that need to be completed around the house. So make a list of daily projects You can complete and jump right in!

TIP #8 HAVE A FAMILY DANCE PARTY
Press Play on that holiday playlist and shake yo' booty!!! Music and dancing soothes even the savagest of beasts!!

TIP #9 BOOKS CAN BE A TREASURE WE FORGET ABOUT
Pick up a book thats collecting dust in your basement and refresh your mind. Reading can help with word building & imagery to take You to another place and time. I have some Dean Koontz stories- I wanna re-read from a decade ago that I still have. Pick a book, open the cover and start turning pages.

I think in times of this whole Corona VIRUS PANDEMIC we are all under a little stress and just trying to make sense of it all. I want You to create sense and calm in your life as day to day things could change. Please everyone be safe and stay in doors. Take this serious and prepare for what could come.
